Tower cranes are rotating cranes with booms mounted on top of high towers. The scope of work is large, mainly used for the vertical transportation of materials and installation of components in the construction of multi-story and high-rise buildings. Tower crane is composed of three parts: metal structure, working mechanism and electrical system. The metal structure includes the tower body, boom, base, attachment rod, etc. The working mechanism has four parts: lifting, amplitude changing, turning and walking. The electrical system includes motors, controllers, power distribution frames, interconnecting lines, signals and lighting devices.
At present, tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as tower cranes) are widely used in construction. Tower cranes are high in construction technology and strict in use requirements. If they are poorly managed, they are special products that cause major mechanical accidents. Therefore, how to make the tower crane play a greater role in building construction, the safety matters that should be paid attention to include the following aspects:
1. Concentrate on energy, cooperate with each other, and have someone to direct. The jacking operation should be directed by a person, and the power supply, hydraulic system, etc. should be operated by a person.
2. High-altitude operators must strictly abide by the safety technical operation regulations for high-altitude operations.
3. Carefully check the steel wire sleeve, snap ring, connecting bolt, pin, etc., and replace it if it is found to be damaged or fatigue crack.
4. The insulation of cables and wires should be good, and the action of each stroke switch should be sensitive and reliable.
5. When multiple tower cranes are working at the same time, the height difference between two adjacent tower cranes should not be less than 5m.
6. Check the positioning pin and adjust the guide wheel clearance. It is forbidden to rotate the tower cap during the jacking process.
7. After the jacking is completed, check whether the power supply is cut off, the left and right joysticks should be restored to the intermediate position, the guide roller of the sleeve is out of contact with the tower body, and the bolts of each section are tightened firmly.
8. There should be intact grounding facilities, idlers are forbidden to stay in the installation work area, and operation is not allowed in weather with wind power level 3 or higher.
9. Always check the condition of the anchoring device to prevent accidents caused by loose sliding.
